Zelda Glitches

Swordless Link-Okay, yeah, I know. This has got to be the most common trick on the net. But for those of you who do not surf Zelda sites, here it is. You go to Ganon’s castle, defeat Ganondorf, then get out of the castle. When Ganon comes out and knocks the sword out of your hand, immediately save and turn off your game. When you restart, your sword will not be equipped! DO NOT EQUIP IT AGAIN IF YOU WANT TO DO A BUNCH OF COOL STUFF!

SWORDLESS LINK TRICKS BEGIN HERE

Have all items on Epona-while on Epona, just press the C buttons to use all of your items. Different items do different things w/ this trick (i.e. Deku Nuts get you off Epona).
Flying Link! – Go to Lake Hylia (this also works in Gerudo Valley) and mount Epona. Go to the tree by the warp stone on the little island, and while still on Epona, hookshot the tree and press A. Now you’ll be flying in the air.
Swimming in the clouds- with the trick above, move across the lake to the VERY BACK wall. “Fly” towards a bird but while still touching the wall. If this is done right, the bird should knock you behind a wall. Now you will be swimming through a sky sea!
Get under Zora’s ice- this trick is a bit difficult to explain. Go to Lake Hylia and mount Epona. Go to the section with the four pillars, and, with the iron boots equipped, get off Epona with a Deku Nut. Walking VERY SLOWLY (as to keep Epona from following you), go towards the water, and when you reach it, IMMEDIATELY press A and then Start. Switch to the Kokiri boots and press start again. You should see a white or light-colored square in the distance. Keep alternating between the Kokiri and Iron boots, being careful not to sink to the bottom or rise to the surface. Keep doing this until you reach the square, and then you will appear in Zora’s Domain, under the ice (note: you need to have the Iron boots equipped to stay under.).
Under the waterfall- here is a pretty lame trick but one I found by myself, so I decided to post it. When under Zora’s ice, walk towards the waterfall and go under it. If you did this right, you should be under it, although there’s nothing there.
Red/Purple/Blue/Cloudy Haze- When at any of the horse-needed games, play the “Song of Storms” when it starts. Depending on the place (i.e. Lon Lon Ranch, Horseback Archery) and time (i.e. evening) will determine what color the haze will be.
Gerudo Valley has no guards! - Mount on Epona and go to the Horseback Archery range. While playing the game, get off of her with a Deku nut and run to the section with all the buildings. DO NOT PRESS A! Doing so will cause you to mount Epona again. When you reach this area, the guards will be gone and the hick music will still be playing. Even the Training Ground stands unguarded, but when you enter it, it’s a different room!
Link rides 3 feet above Epona- Mount Epona and take out the ocarina. Play “Saria’s Song,” talk to Saria, and then Link should be riding above Epona!

SWORDLESS LINK TRICKS END HERE

Epona riding a fence? - This trick has costed me countless frustration after doing it once and wanting to do it again because it’s so weird! Mount Epona and go to Lon Lon Ranch. Go inside the corral and face the side of the small fence. Stepping back enough to gain a little speed (enough to jump w/), go forward, and, if you did this right (and stopped before Epona reached the other end), Epona should be on top of the fence! It’s funny to see her kick up dust that’s not there! If you don’t do it right the first time, it’s understandable because it’s hard to master.
