Enemy Info (in alphabetical order)

Anubis- Floating snake-like creature. They copy your movements (in reverse), and can be killed with fire. Fire arrows and Din’s Fire are the best weapons.

Armos Statue- Statues that come to life when touched. Can be very annoying if not destroyed quickly. Bombs work best. They explode after they’re defeated.

Baby Dodongo- The larva of the Dodongos. When slashed, they act as a time bomb, so stay clear after you defeat them.

Bari- Larger version of Biri. When attacked they even split into three Biri. Use bombs, some are only stunned by the first one, so use a second.

Beamos- Strange eye-statue that shoots a laser if it spots you. Bombs are the best for this one, and, like the Bari, some need two. Fire arrows also work for stunning.

Barinade- Boss of Jabu-Jabu’s belly. A large combination of Biri, tentacles, and fish flesh. Somewhat difficult to defeat the first time, see walkthrough.

Big Deku Baba- Bigger version of a Deku Baba. Retaliates by snapping. Slash with sword twice, and, depending on the way you slashed it, either a Deku stick or nut will appear.

Bigocto- Giant vacuum-cleaner octopus thing. Can be very annoying, mini-boss of Jabu-Jabu’s Belly, see walkthrough.

Biri- Very annoying electrical jellyfish. If you slash with your sword, you’ll be electrocuted, so DON’T use it. The boomerang or spin attack (the ONLY time to use your sword) work the best against it.

Blue Bubble- A flying skull surrounded by a blue flame. Your shield will disperse the flames, leaving it vulnerable to your sword.

Blue Tektite- Blue crab-like creatures. Usually are found near water, and are vulnerable to just about any of your weapons. The sword works the best against it.

Bongo-Bongo- Boss of the Shadow Temple. Giant eyeball thing with large hands, fairly easy to defeat. See walkthrough.

Business Scrub- Very similar to a Deku Scrub, only they try to sell you things when they’re defeated.

Centipedes- A giant flying centipede-like creature. Use the boomerang or spin attack to destroy them, as they also give off an electrical charge.

Club Moblin- Only one in the game, guarding the Forest Temple. It hammers the ground to bounce you away, but very slow. Use a sort of zigzagging strategy to get past it, then kill it with arrows or stun with the Hookshot.

Dark Link- Your evil shadow self. Mini-boss of the Water Temple, see walkthrough.

Dead Hand- A disgusting scary witch creature thing that has multiple hands sticking out from the floor used for grabbing little children for eating. Boss of the Well and Mini-boss of the Shadow Temple, see walkthroughs.

Deku Baba- Plant creature that snaps at you, just like a Big Deku Baba only smaller. Deku Scrub- Little plant-like creatures that hide in the ground when you get too close. Shoot their ammo back at them, and they’ll give you tips if you catch them.

Dinalfos- Dinosaur-like creatures with swords but no shields. Very easy to defeat if you use your shield properly, only take about two hits with the sword.

Dodongo- A very strange fire-breathing lizard. Their scales are very hard, but their tails are vulnerable, so slash their tails.

Fake Doors- Harmless unless you try to open them. They are simple to tell apart from real doors: they don’t sink into walls, so kill them with bombs.

Floor Master- Hand monster. These can get to be extremely annoying. There are a few different versions of them: ones that break into three little hands that suck the life out of you, ones that are invisible, ones that turn green when they are about to attack, and ones that are all of the above. Use your shield, sword, Lens of Truth, or whatever is necessary.

Floor Razor – Indestructible spiked metal devices that move in a pattern bouncing off of the walls.

Flying Bottles- Annoying little bottles that fly at you to hurt you. If you see a shadow under a bottle, it’s a flying one, so watch out. Break against your shield.

Freezard- Ice-block creatures that can be very annoying. Don’t get too close or they’ll freeze you into a block of ice. Kill with your sword when they aren’t blowing ice.

Ganonorf- Final boss of the game. See walkthrough.

Gibdo- Mummy creature, exactly like Re-Deads, only mummies.

Gohma Larva- Larva of Queen Gohma. Quick on their feet, kill the eggs before they hatch with your sword.

Gold Skulltula- Same as Skulltuwallas, only they cannot be targeted. Collect the coins to get presents.

Green Bubble- Skull engulfed in green flames. Attack when the flames disappear.

Guay- Exactly like Keese, only they resemble crows. Target and shoot arrows when they are near, or use your sword.

Iron Knuckles- Giant armored monsters. Spirit Temple and Ganon’s Castle mini-boss. See walkthroughs.

Keese- Flying bat-like creatures that have three different forms: Keese, Fire Keese, and Ice Keese. The Ice and Fire versions can be very aggravating. Slash with your sword or use arrows to defeat them.

King Dodongo- King of the Dodongos. Dodongo’s Cavern boss, see walkthrough.

Leever – Annoying little blob creatures that live in the desert. Destroy a group all at once, and a giant blue one will appear. When this one is defeated, they will leave you alone for a while.

Like Like- Disgusting tannish blob creatures that eat your shields and tunics. Destroy them with your sword or arrows, and make sure to get your items back if they were eaten.

Lizalfos- Very similar to Dinolfos, only lizards. Slash with your sword.

Mad Scrub- Very similar to Deku Scrub, only it doesn’t give tips. After hitting it with its ammo, run after it and slash it to destroy it before it returns to its hole.

Octorok – Rock-blowing water octopus creatures. Shoot their ammo back at them with your shield to destroy them.

Moblins – Giant versions of the previous ones, and a lot more annoying. Shoot your Hookshot to stun them (from behind, or they’ll stab you), then slash once to kill them.

Morhpa – Nucleus creature that has the power to morph water into “arms.” Boss of the Water Temple, see walkthrough.

Peahat – A large creature that rotates to move. Slash its bottom to destroy it.

Peahat Larva – Little Peahats. Use your shield to block them.

Phantom Ganon – A fake Ganon. Forest Temple boss, see walkthrough.

Poe – An evil lantern-carrying ghost. Some disappear when you target it, and some just die when slashed.

Poe Sisters – Four ghost sisters, mini-bosses of the Forest Temple. See walkthrough.

Queen Gohma – The Mother of the Gohma Larva. Boss of the Deku Tree, see walkthrough.

Red Bubble – Skull engulfed in orange flames. Usually will not bother you since they periodically appear out of fire pits, so just avoid them.

ReDead – Zombie creatures. If they see you, they will try to paralyze you. Get away quickly before they jump on your head and bite you. Use the Sun’s Song to freeze them, then use the sword to slash.

Shabom – Bubble creatures. Although Navi tells you not to use the sword against them, that and the Boomerang work best against them.

Shell Blade – Clams that thrive underwater. Target them, then use your Hookshot to kill them when they open their mouths. Do this quickly or they will retaliate with the spikes on their “hinges.”

Skulltula – Giant spiders that hang from ceilings. When they are turned around, use your sword or Slingshot to kill them, or just use your Hookshot.

Skulltulwalla- Small spiders that stick to walls. Kill with your Hookshot or arrows, and make sure not to climb the walls near them or they’ll knock you off.

Spike – Urchin-like creatures. Disguise themselves as harmless brown lumps when dormant, but quickly change into dangerous spiny animals. Destroy them from a distance with your Hookshot while dormant.

Stalchild – Skeleton of a Skull Kid. Only come out at night when you’re Child Link, just slash with sword.

Stalfos – Skeleton warrior guards. Try to get a slash with your sword between its own. Slashing from behind (if you’re lucky enough) will inflict more damage.

Stinger – Sting ray creatures. Target them when they’re in the water, then use the Boomerang or Slingshot when they fly above you.

Tektite – Red crab-like creatures. Just slash with your sword. They are easier to defeat than the Blue species.

Tentacle – Disgusting tentacles of Barinade (I think). Four of them in all. See walkthrough.

Tiles – Flying tiles. Use your shield to block them.

Torch Slug – Flaming slugs. Use arrows or your sword to defeat them, or your Hookshot first to stun them. Kill them before its flame re-lights.

Twinrova – Koume and Kotake, twin witches of fire and ice. Spirit Temple boss, see walkthrough.

Volvagia – Fire dragon from the legends of the Goron people. Fire Temple boss, see walkthrough.

Wallmaster – Hand monsters that hang from the ceiling. Navi will warn you if they’re in the area. Stay clear out of their way (you’ll hear a windy-sounding noise and see a shadow) or you can have fun at the beginning of the dungeon. Kill them before they retreat to the ceiling.

White Bubble – Skulls that don’t have a surrounding flame. Destroy with sword.

Wolfos – Wolf creatures. There are two variations: the regular type and the Ice type. They will block your sword most of the time, and give you a couple of freebie hits (or, if you’re lucky, slash them from behind). The Ice versions take longer to defeat. I personally like to play around with these guys, by standing on the “roof” part of the Forest Temple and shooting them with Ice Arrows.
